Glass Workshop

Feel the heat from the 1100 degree hot oven, and discover how the amazing glass material can be transformed into different shapes depending on your creativity.

Vice Versa would like to offer you this great opportunity to challenge your creativity in a glass workshop together with your colleagues. You will get the chance to produce your very own glass objects from scratch – from drinking glasses to bowls and candlesticks.

Our experienced glass blower starts with an introduction where you will be shown the different glass techniques. Besides from blowing glass it will for example be possible to cut out various pieces of glass, which can be assembled into a small mosaic bowl, that later will be melted together in the oven.

After the introduction you will be divided into smaller groups, where you will switch between the different activity stations. The stations contain glass blowing, cutting, painting/drawing and burning which give you the perfect opportunity to create your very own piece of art.

The glass workshop can be implemented at different levels.

Regardless of your creative ambitions and skills, you will be able to take part in the whole process and get a surprisingly nice result. When the painted glass is melting, the material creates unique shapes and patterns that can not be compared with the glass art available in stores.

A day at the glass workshop can be combined with other events. If you for example wish to produce glass beads, it would be natural to extend the workshop with a jewelry workshop afterwards.
